It can be passed sexually or non-sexually.
E.g. sharing a glass with someone who has cold sores. Shaking someones hand after they’ve made contact with a cold sore.

Most people get them when they’re still young kids. It’s from kissing Aunt Mary or Uncle Harvey while they have a scab. Never force kids to kiss their old aunts and uncles.

i hate cold sore for 3 reasons… it hurts, it leaves a scar, and you cant really open your mouth

If you let it heal naturally without picking at it, it won’t leave a scar. You have to let them fall off when they are ready. It’s a nuisance.

I know that it hurts i have massive ones right now:( but, that cold sore looks like it in the healing stage though, the scab looks like it would come right off with a simple touch..get rid of the debree lol

I always let any kind of scab fall off naturally. If you pick or pull a scab, it could bleed. Then the creepy thing will hang around a little longer and possibly even leave a scar.

Most people probably wouldn’t knowingly kiss a person with a herpes scab on their lips, but I suppose there are always the risk takers.

The best way to find out if you have herpes is to take a HSV 1 (oral herpes) or HSV 2 (genital herpes) igG blood test. The igG is the best test to take for this because it detects the G antibody. I wouldn’t waste my money on the igM test. It is faulty and only detects the M antibody that the body only makes at first infection and then stops making after so many weeks or months.

i have something like this , but it isnt yellow its like little white pimply bumbs, but in thje same place as you…..how do i treat this ? i cant tell my mom , is it herpes or just pimples ?

looks more like an oral fungal infection try an oral gel “dactarin”
