    i get a cold sore once maybe twice a year..i just beat the shit out of it with PEROXYDE and a Q-TIP rubbing rough on the cold sore..works awesome

    Thank you. Extremely helpful!! I use that vinegar all the time. I never thought about using it that way. A boil was forming on my ass and I put a towel soak with apple cider vinegar and it went away.Vvitamin C is the best!. This will cut down on Csores. Take extra one to cut down on healing time. Take golden seal and echineacia herb which is a blood cleanser and will heal the common cold and many other viruses really quick. I swear by it. Take it exactly like they tell you though.

    Oh, the voice. You sound different. This is a plus when doing videos or radio. They say half a million people get cold sores every year. I think its more. Very common. I started getting them as a kid. Be careful who you drink from, eat from, or kiss. What is scary about cold sores is you can catch them from someone who may not appear to have it. It may be about to form or even worse, inside their mouth where you can’t see. I really hate having to deal with this. Thank goodness I rarely get them.

    do you think eating healthily and drinking water would help it go away quicker, i havn’t got a bad case of it, but it appears alot and im 15 so its quite embarresing.

    Yes, a healthy diet would help your body fight off the virus but from personal experience I found eating nuts would trigger an outbreak and from talking to other sufferers they say the same, so mayby cut them out if you eat them and see how you get on!

    I’ve noticed a lot of salty products will make me break out in cold sores. I find using a heated teabag and putting it on the cold sore makes the swelling go down a lot and stop itching for me. You should try it sometime. It doesn’t make it go away…but will make the appearence much smaller. It does hurt a little from the heat. But, you could always flush it with cold water for a second to make it less on the very hot side

    Are the braces cutting into your lip? Maybe check with your dentist if they persist as a result of the braces causing damage to your skin.

    As soon as you feel the tingle of a coldsore starting to grow, cut a clove of garlic in half and press against the area for 10-20 minutes, repeat 3-4 times a day, and add more garlic into your diet.
